Trailer (& Title) for Avengers 4 Released
Ever since the devastating cliff-hanger ending of Avengers: Infinity War in April, we have been eagerly awaiting information on the fourth Avengers movie. July’s Ant-Man and the Wasp, was happening concurrently and a post-credit scene tied it into the end of Infinity War.
With the delayed title release, I was afraid we would have to wait until after the release of Captain Marvel for a trailer and title. However, the wait is over, we have the first trailer for the 4th Avengers movie – with the title revealed at the end.

So, the title is Avengers: Endgame

Avengers: Endgame Trailer Thoughts
The Avengers: Endgame trailer covers the original Avengers team who survived Thanos’ snap that wiped out half the universe.
It starts with Tony Stark/Iron Man (Robert Downey, Jr) on a ship after leaving Titan. He’s leaving a message for Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow). He has this ominous quote “Part of the Journey is the End”
Then Natasha Romanov/Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Steve Rogers/Captain America (Chris Evans) are at the Avengers compound discussing that Thanos wiped out half the universe. It then flashes to Bruce Banner/Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) looking at images of other heroes. Other flashes are Thor (Chris Hemsworth). We also get a glimpse of one of the women from Black Panther (I believe it’s Okoye, but she never comes into focus).
Most interesting is that we finally see Hawkeye/Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner) again and wielding a sword instead of a bow and arrow. He has not appeared since Captain America: Civil War and is reunited with Black Widow.
I love the trailer’s ending with Scott Lang/Ant Man (Paul Rudd) appearing at the Avengers Complex. It brings the signature Marvel humor to the trailer despite it’s otherwise heavy tone.
I am definitely excited about the movie even though it just shows us the characters left alive reeling from the devastating finale of Infinity War.
