The Next Video Game Project: LEGO Jurassic World

My daughter and husband love most of the LEGO games that are available for the gaming systems. Actually, the availability of the newer LEGO games was a driving force in upgrading from a Wii to a Wii U since the new games are not available on the Wii. They will be very happy to see that there will be a LEGO Jurassic Park video game later this year.

The LEGO Jurassic World game will be released June 30. I guess I know what my daughter and husband will be playing this summer…maybe I can convince them to wait until fall to play and enjoy the summer weather.

You can pre-order LEGO Jurassic World on many different platforms (Wii U, Nintendo 3DS, Xbox360, XBox One, PS3, PS4 or PS Vita) from Amazon. I like ordering video games as an Amazon pre-order since I am guaranteed the lowest price from the day I place my order until the release date.

Jurassic World will be in theaters beginning June 12. Here is the movie trailer:

They began playing LEGO Star Wars and progressed through all of tho LEGO Star Wars versions. Then, they moved on to LEGO Indiana Jones. Then LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean and LEGO Lord of the Rings. LEGO Marvel is one of their favorite LEGO Video Games. They have also given LEGO The Hobbit high marks…except for the fact that it only includes the first two movies in The Hobbit series.

They didn’t like LEGO Batman or LEGO Harry Potter as much, but I am encouraging them to replay those games now that they are more familiar with the LEGO games (and know to search the internet for tips when they get stuck).

  • I bought the game and completed it 100% in just under 24 hours and I enjoyed it for the most part, just like every other lego game I have played. Its not the best one but its still enjoyable. I do hope they change the formula up at some point though, it is getting a bit too samey.
