Spring Break Camp Options
I can’t believe that spring break is only a couple of weeks out. This is the first year that my daughter has been in school that we are staying home for spring break (she is in third grade now). Since Easter falls during Spring Break this year which typically results in increased crowd levels we decided to go on vacation during my husband’s mid-winter break at University of Michigan.
When my daughter was in first grade, I would pick her up each day at her classroom. About a week before spring break she came running out of the classroom waving the flyer from Rec & Ed with the spring break camps.
“Mom, they have a Star Wars Camp! Can I go?”
Of course my answer was no, we’re going to Disney World. Her response,
And I’m thinking, boy I could have saved a lot of money by sending you to Star Wars camp instead of taking you to Disney World and Universal Studios.
On our trip, she a Star Wars experience at Jedi Training Academy at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. I also signed her up for Star Wars Camp that summer. She loved Star Wars camp so much that she repeated it again last summer.
