South Maple Park Playground Review
This was our first visit to South Maple Park. We were at Zoey + Joey for my daughter’s Back to School haircut and pulled up the car’s GPS looking for a nearby park that we have not covered in a review.
My daughter really liked South Maple Park. A Merry Go-Round is always a hit with her. A new feature (at least for me was the pole from the top of the structure). I thought it was a fireman’s pole at first, then I discovered that there is not an opening in the structure and that the pole spins. My daughter loved spinning!
At 11, she also was enjoyed climbing the outside of the play structure. It was a bit of a challenge for her to pull herself up. If you have little ones, I apologize for her setting a bad example. I know I hated when big kids who did things like that when she was younger.
Have you visited South Maple Park? Check it out if you haven’t been yet.
Thanks so much. I have really enjoyed reading your blog this summer since a co-worker introduced me to it. It’s been fun especially reading about the different parks and branching out a little to let my boys enjoy the features you talk about. We have had a great time this summer in part thanks to you. I also started a blog this summer about being a working mom, traveling with kids. Any words of wisdom from you would be awesome.
