This profile of Scheffler Park is part of our Summer Series: Tuesday Playground Profiles
Each week Ann Arbor with Kids is profiling a different playground in the Ann Arbor area. Playgrounds will be selected from Ann Arbor, Saline, Ypsilanti, Dexter, etc. This summer my daughter has played a few softball games at Scheffler Park, including one last night. We spent some time after her game exploring the playground.
Scheffler Park is located at 3075 Edgewood Drive near the intersection of Platt and Huron Parkway. The playground is along Platt with a walking path that runs along Platt and continues on Huron. There is a fence opening at the crosswalk to cross the road and continue up Platt to County Farm Park.

Scheffler Park Playground Review
Scheffler Park is a neighborhood park in Ann Arbor, but with a convenient location along Platt Rd. It had been a couple of years since I was last at Scheffler Park. Since our last visit, the structure has been replaced. The park has a single play structure which has both a small double slide and a twisty slide. The play structure also has a rope bridge and a leaf climber.
In addition to the play structure and swings, there is a see-saw and a spinner cage. My daughter really enjoyed the spinner cage.
Scheffler Park has a sand area with a crane kids can sit at.
