Mom2Mom Consignment Sale Returns to Saline Next Weekend
With the cooler temperatures the last couple of days are you realizing that your child needs a new fall wardrobe? If so, mark your calendars for the Mom2Mom Consignment Sale on Saturday, September 20 from 9a-2p at Liberty School in Saline. Admission is $1/adult before noon. The sale will be focused on fall and winter clothing including Halloween costumes, winter coats, boots, etc. The sale will be organized department style with clothing segregated by size and gender with separate sections for toys, large baby gear, and other accessories.
I have sold items at their last three sales (Spring and Fall of 2013 and Spring 2014). As a seller, I like that I can drop off my sale items Friday afternoon and pick up anything left on Saturday afternoon and receive a check within a week. With soccer in both fall and spring and Girl Scout Cookie Booths in spring, this fits my schedule much better than a sale where I have to spend Saturday morning at the sale. The slots for sellers are already full, so if you wish to sell keep your eye out for their announcement of their March 2015 sale.
As a seller, my experience is that toys and baby gear sell very well, so if you are in the market for those items, I would recommend arriving early. In clothing the best selection is in the smaller sizes. When I browsed the girls selection last year, I remember there being a much smaller selection in the larger sizes (my daughter was in a size 8).
Liberty School is located at 7265 N. Ann Arbor-Saline Rd.
