I cannot wait to see the show! I have loved Beauty & the Beast ever since the release of the 1991 Disney animated movie. I always wanted to see the musical on Broadway when I lived on the East Coast, but it never worked out. When I was asked to promote the performance in exchange for tickets, I jumped at the opportunity.

About Disney’s Beauty & the Beast

Disney’s Beauty & the Beast, an award-winning worldwide smash hit Broadway musical, is based on the 1991 Disney Animated movie of the same name. The musical features many of the popular songs from the movie with music by Alan Menken and lyrics by the late Howard Ashman. Additional songs for the musical feature music by Alan Menken and lyrics by Tim Rice. The play book is written by Linda Woolverton.

Olympia Entertainment has provided the following description:

Disney’s Beauty & the Beast is the classic story of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped in a spell placed by an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed to his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity.
