Dinosauria Returns to Detroit Zoo

This summer the Detroit Zoo welcomes back Dinosauria. The Dinosauria exhibit features 40 animatronic dinosaurs in a 5 acre dinosaur park. The exhibit opened yesterday and will run through Labor Day (Monday, September 7). Dinosauria requires a special ticket in addition to your Detroit Zoo admission. Dinosauria costs $5/person. Children under 2 are admitted free of charge.

Digging out the dinosaur fossil

We visited Dinosauria in the summer of 2011 when my daughter was at the height of her dinosaur obsession. My daughter and her friend were so excited that they darted from dinosaur to dinosaur barely stopping to look at any dinosaur.

Visiting Dinosauria would be a great way to get ready for the release of Jurassic World on June 12. I know my daughter is looking forward to both the movie and the LEGO Jurassic World Video Game. In the meantime, check out the trailer for Jurassic World:
