Back to School Shopping: Justice to Reopen at Briarwood Mall as Justice & Brothers

About a year ago my daughter first discovered Justice and it quickly became her favorite clothing store. Needless to say, she was dismayed when they closed earlier this summer for renovations. She is looking forward to the store reopening as announced below. The re-opening is just in time for Back to School Shopping. (Although she already has a Back to School outfit bought at the Justice in Twelve Oaks Mall).

The renovation to Justice includes the addition of Brothers, their brand for tween boys. I am interested in how they are going to balance both stores in the same space. I’ll be back to provide a review of the new store once it opens.

The press release below from Briarwood Mall contains more details.

Popular clothing store for tween girls remodels, adds concept for tween boys

ANN ARBOR, August 8, 2014 — Just in time for the busy back-to-school shopping season, Justice, a wildly popular fashion store for pre-teen girls, is reopening its location at Briarwood Mall after renovating and adding an additional concept for pre-teen boys, Brothers. The new Justice and Brothers stores will open Wednesday, August 13 at 10:00 a.m.

Justice and Brothers stores carry trendy clothing, accessories, room décor, swimwear, and more for girls and boys between the ages of 7-14. The retailers are located in the JC Penney wing of the mall across from Best Buy Mobile.

“We’re so excited to see these stores open, especially as students and families prepare for the upcoming school year,” said Denise Murray, director of marketing and business development. “These are very popular brands among pre-teens, and the new Brothers store is a great addition to our mix of quality retailers.”
