Arbor Annie’s Spring Break Weekend Picks March 23-25

Spring Break kicks off after school on Friday – a week earlier than last year. Don’t worry, there are plenty of great events if you’re in town. After a few years of traveling for spring break, we will be in town.

Arbor Annie’s Weekend Event Picks

With spring break, there are not a ton of events this weekend. However, that doesn’t mean there is a shortage of good events.

In the past we have enjoyed Family Day at the Kelsey Museum. On Saturday they are holding Family Day: Ancient Egypt!

Also this weekend is the 46th Annual Dance for Mother Earth Powwow on both Saturday and Sunday.

Easter events also kick off this weekend. There’s Brunch with the Easter Bunny and a couple egg hunts.

If you celebrate Passover, check out Junior Matza Chef at Chabad House.

    Movies

Just in time for our spring break there are some new movies coming to theaters – Sherlock Gnomes (a sequel to Gnomeo & Juliet) and Pacific Rim Uprising.

The big movie in theaters is last weekend’s release, A Wrinkle in Time. I loved the book when I read it in middle school, but have to admit that I don’t really remember the story. After a couple of busy weekends, we’re going to try to see the movie over spring break.
