Arbor Annie's Weekend Picks - February 2-4

Arbor Annie’s Weekend Event Picks

This weekend is the kickoff to Preschool Shopping Season. There are a number of Open Houses this weekend (see the list below).

Saturday night and Sunday morning have the possibility of a significant snow fall – so be sure to check any Sunday morning events for weather cancellations before heading out (Our event listings always include a link to the original source).

Of course, Sunday night is for football. I know we’re planning to have a few people over. I’m hoping it’s not a repeat of 2015 when we had huge amounts of snow that night.

New in theaters last week was Maze Runner: The Death Cure. It’s rated PG-13 and based on a young adult book series, so I’d save it for the tweens and teens. My daughter (age 12) read the first book, but didn’t get into the series.

The last few weeks, the box office leader has been Jumanji: Welcome to the JungleCheck out our review here:

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is still in theaters. We’ve seen it twice. If you have plans to see it, check out our review and parental guidance.
