Ann Arbor District Library Preschool Storytimes are offered multiple times each week. The story times are held at various branch libraries with both morning and evening sessions.
About Ann Arbor District Library Preschool Storytime
Each Ann Arbor District Library Preschool Storytime is 30 minutes long and includes several stories and songs. Ann Arbor District Library Preschool Storytime is for kids ages 2-5 and an adult. Both older and younger siblings are welcome.

Preschool Storytimes are a great option for toddlers and preschoolers to interact with other kids. It is great preparation for school circle time.
Schedule for Ann Arbor District Library Preschool Storytime
When my daughter was a toddler and preschooler, AADL Preschool Storytime would run in 6-8 week sessions and then take a few weeks break before the next session. Now Ann Arbor Preschool Storytime is offered weekly throughout the year. The change definitely makes it easier to keep track.
Currently (Fall 2019), the Preschool Storytime schedule is:
- Mondays
- 11-11:30a – Malletts Creek
- 11-11:30a – Westgate Branch
- Tuesdays
- 10-10:30a – Downtown Branch
- 11-11:30a – Traverwood Branch
- Wednesdays
- 10-10:30a – Malletts Creek Branch
- 11-11:30a – Downtown Branch
- 1-1:30p – Westgate Branch
- 6-6:30p – Traverwood Branch
- Thursdays
- 10-10:30a – Traverwood Branch
- 7-7:30p – Pittsfield Branch (Moved to Downtown during Pittsfield Branch Closure beginning 9/23)
- Fridays
- 10-10:30a – Pittsfield Branch (Cancelled during Pittsfield Branch Closure beginning 9/23)
- 10-10:30a – Westgate Branch
