Kids will remember sharing snacks, dinner or breakfast with Santa. One of my favorite Christmas memories is having Breakfast with Santa when I was a child. It was definitely an experience I wanted to share with my daughter. We had breakfast with Santa at Briarwood Mall several times and supper with Santa.
Unfortunately, Briarwood Mall is no longer offering a breakfast with Santa in 2023. But, there are several options to eat with Santa near Ann Arbor throughout Washtenaw County.
Our Experiences with Santa Dining near Ann Arbor
I remember doing breakfast with Santa as a child, so I definitely looked for options when my daughter was a baby. We took my daughter to her first Breakfast with Santa when she was 11 months old. I got a great photo of her staring at Santa from her high chair. Unfortunately, I can’t find my CD drive to share it here.
Dining with Santa is a great, relaxed way to visit Santa. My daughter was always more willing to talk to Santa when he visited our table, or she visited his table. But, Santa sets always intimidated her. I think it felt a bit like being on stage.
Even better, most brunches with Santa near us allow you to bring your own camera to get a picture with Santa
If you are attending Holiday Nights at Greenfield Village, I do recommend their Supper with Santa program. We did it in 2010 when my daughter was 4. She was old enough for Greenfield Village’s Holiday Nights and young enough to enjoy meeting Santa and Mrs Claus. We took a horse drawn carriage ride from the Greenfield Village entrance to Taste of History. We then enjoyed dinner, storytime, and crafts. Then we were able to get this great photo with Santa and Mrs Claus.
It is sold out for 2023. But, mark your calendar for early November 2024 to book your tickets for next year.
Events and Restaurants with Santa in Ann Arbor Area
There are typically a number of opportunities for Santa breakfasts near Ann Arbor. There are also dinner with Santa 2023 and even a lunch with Santa near us. Typically Santa breakfast offers a pancake breakfast. But there are also Santa brunches in 2023 near Ann Arbor with a more extensive menu. Or, keep it simple with Donuts with Santa.
