Ann Arbor Comic Arts Festival – Summer Reading Recommendations

With the Ann Arbor Comic Arts Festival (A2CAF) coming up this weekend, it’s the perfect time to start our Summer Reading Recommendations featuring authors who will be at the event.

The Ann Arbor Comic Arts Festival (formerly Kids Read Comics Celebration) is presented by the Ann Arbor District Library and Kids Read Comics.

Disclosure: Support Ann Arbor with Kids by shopping through our Amazon links below.

Tom Angleberger

Of the guests at A2CAF, Tom Angleberger is easily the one my daughter is most excited to see, and the only one whose books she has read. She loved his Origami Yoda series. If your child likes Star Wars and has enjoyed the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series, I definitely recommend trying out the Origami Yoda books.

More recently, my daughter really enjoyed Tom Angleberger’s Rocket and Groot: Stranded on Planet Strip Mall featuring Rocket and Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy. She’s hoping for a sequel.
